NO NEED TO WAIT!

Hi Friend,

I can hardly contain my excitement that the IB Psychology Virtual Summit is so soon!

And again, thanks to our sponsors for providing support to get this going.

✨ ✨ I seriously cannot wait for you to dive in and see all the goodness that’s coming your way! ✨ ✨

Facebook Community

The Facebook community has been alive with people introducing themselves and connecting - it truly warms my heart to see posts and messages from people saying they no longer feel alone, that they are psyched (😉) for the summit to start, and that they already feel reassured that their questions will be answered.

PsychWise's Fundraiser for Open Road

As psychology teachers, we undoubtedly want to support services, studies, and research that makes the world better for all.

Our IB guru, Laura Swash, has shared her personal story of her beloved brother, Colin, taken by addiction. You can read the preview (and order the book) here: https://amzn.to/3WuAGWl

All proceeds from the book go to Open Road. Open Road's mission is to empower a diverse range of individuals, families and communities to lead healthy and more meaningful lives, free from addiction, offending behaviour and disadvantage, to ensure healthier, happier lifestyles.

They seek to strike a balance between acceptance and change; to accept people as they are, whilst helping them to make positive changes as they so desire.

Let's help them achieve this worthy goal and thank Laura for sharing her story as well as her expertise through this summit.

The summit officially kicks off on Friday 26th July, and to get things started on the right foot, I’ll be going live in the summit Facebook group for a kickoff call at 9am BST (GMT +1).

We’ll go over things like:

👉 What to expect during the summit + how the presentations and live sessions will go.

👉How to get the most out of the summit.

👉How to navigate the summit's platform, including where to find the schedule, session links, and resources.

👉What to do if you hit any tech road bumps.

Hopefully, we'll also have time to deal with any burning questions (although you can also reply to this email and we'll get back to you ASAP).

🌟 CHECK YOUR EMAIL (INCLUDING JUNK/SPAM) AND MAKE SURE YOU CAN LOG IN NOW 🌟

Also, don't forget that the Extended Access Pass (EAP) will rise in price to $69 on Friday 26th July. Save when you upgrade your ticket before then (or feel very smug that you already locked in a great deal!)

We’ve been adding more bonus EAP resources from our speakers over the last few days that you will not want to miss! For example, Hilary has just provided us with a session that guides you through your 1st week of teaching, and ALL the resources (slideshows, handouts, and a video to walk you through it all) are ready-to-go and done for you. As soon as it's edited, it'll be up on the site ready to go on the 26th.

Natasha Skinner, fresh from examining Paper 2 2024, has produced a session on how you can take your students' ERQ preparation from 'Blah' to 'Aha!'

This is just a snippet of what's been added since we launched and you can be sure there'll be more!

With your Extended Access Pass, you’ll get priority access to live sessions during the week of the summit (as places are limited), opportunities to get direct feedback during Q+A, and bonuses worth $$$$ including subscriptions, downloads, and other resources that will enhance your course experience. Not to mention ongoing access to the summit presentations so you can revisit them whenever you need to and implement the strategies on your time.

Read all about it here.

You are going to love it!

All the best,

Abena
